KIAs intrude JB part 1

we started off meeting at the Al Ameen car park. jun drove her nice 4941 white lancer and gerald drove Marc's old MERC. shiok. was really kind of Marc to lend the car. then we went to pick Xudes up. henceforth, we were separated into 2 gangs, and we communicated via the walkie talkie, which provided us tons of laughter. the white car gang - Jun, Xudes, and Lion King.

the black car gang - Rald, Bernice, Shawn, and Pongs.

ok. we reached the causeway at about 1045 and there was not much of a jam. however, since we took different lanes at the Malaysian checkpoint, BCG(black car gang) ended up waiting 20 mins for WCG(white car gang) after entering JB. YAY!!! then began the adventures of BCG and WCG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!first stop - Bak Kut Teh!!!!

The 7 of us had

10 cups of barley, len de(cold barley)

13 bowls of rice5 bowls of You Char Kway(fried dough fritters)

5 bowls of kiam chye(salted vegetable), which had lots of delicious pork lard YUMYUM

2 huge claypots of BAK KUT TEH(with crunchy delicious button mushrooms)

1 huge claypot of TER KA!!!(pork leg. the sauce kill-ded me)

2 huge claypots of MA YOU JI(sesame sauce chicken,. this was no ordinary chicken. it was hell fresh and tender and the sauce was heavenly! the ginger slicer really enhanced the taste!1 pot was enough but shawn and i loved it too much so we had another! this was the dish for lunch for me)

look at the sight of the table. conquered. we were dead full by then.

and it cost the 7 of us RM93. equals RM13.3 per person. the exchange rate is RM2.3 to S$1. that means S$5.80 per person. oh my goodness. shiok. i was dead full.

then we went to pelangi plaza, where the guys spent most of the time in FOS. Bernice and Jun were at some other shop initially, but they landed at some FOS too. shop shop shop....we love FOS. off to the next stop, and in between, more nonsense on the walkieS!
