foodie

hi all. xudes and i are working at ACTS today and we just had lunch. from Hong Lim. one of the bestest food centres in Singapore. It has such a great variety, and yet they charge good 'ole hawker prices. SWEET. this is what we ate.

ZHIWEI
chicken rice, roast chicken breast meat $2
chicken chop noodles plus 3 dumplings $4
half a yam puff free
teh halia (gingertea) $0.90
the chicken chop noodles really had a lot of chicken, and it's really worth it. the chicken rice is from long kee chicken rice. good, and they gave a lot for $2. was supposed to eat prata instead of chicken rice but the prata man not ready.

XUDES
fried hokkien prawn noodles $3
half a yam puff $1
teh tarik (pullbacktea) $0.80
Hello Xudes here. I just had the best lunch in ACTS bookstore in all of my days of work here. I had one of the most amazing awesome shiok hokkien mee with damn alot of noodles. I asked for "gei" noodles and the aunty really added alot so much so that the box was so full it looked like it cost 5 dollars!!!shiok!! guess what, i wasn't even halfway through the meal when zhiwei had already finished both his chicken rice and chicken chop noodles! ( don noe whether its becos of his speed eating or cos my noodles were damn alot haha) Anyway, heres the crux of this comment: here goes..... I FOUND THE SOLUTION TO A FULL, SATISFYING, FULFILLING MEALLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHIOK DAMN HAPPY!!! Apparently, its a cup of TEH TARIK to end of my meal! Trivial as it may sound, but it did wonders for me! The warm, comforting, milky liquid flowing down my throat was orgasmic, the perfect closure to a great meal. Of course, not forgetting to mention the half piece of yam puff which i devoured verociously, a perfect complement to the teh tarik..im so happy now so happy..so full as im typing this message.

so now we are slacking around in the bookshop cos no customers. it's great to be working with a buddy. alrighty guys any plans for saturday? xudes is suggesting running or some form of exercise in the morning or afternoon. east coast, west coast, macritchie? hiya marcus, when you coming back?
